This c ouse was just purchased and the improvements are already raising my evaluation of it. Greens are coming around and play is improving...look for this to be rated a LOT higher next year.

I read some horrible reviews of this course ... the last from 2011, so I was not going to play it. I happened to pass it one day, so went to look for myself. The course has re-vamped the greens and most of them are in good or better shape. There was one green that was horrible, but the rest were good. My biggest complaint is that there are a number of holes that have a tee marker that says something like "247 yards to reach hazard". However, on a couple holes the number (i.e. "247") has worn out so you cannot read it! This is an easy fix and unacceptable that they are not maintained. I think on the 9th hole there is no marker at all, though the hazard is about 235 yards from the blue tees.

Currently has temporary greens. New greens expected in Aug. I would like to play it again with the greens and traps available.

I had to downgrade them for their overall condition. There had been a tropical storm that went over the area, and although all of the big stuff was cleared out, much of the fairways still were covered in pinestraw & pinecones. The greens were in terrible shape, and that condition predated the storm. They have recognized the problem with the greens with a price reduction. I hope that they get their greens back soon, as I do like this course, and would give it higher marks if it gets cleaned up & recovered.
